One of Slate‘s popular features is the Explainer column. I had the chance to take a swing at one timed with a recent Republican debate. I also recently wrote a piece on Claire Dunphy, a character on Modern Family. This one was for a newer Slate feature, “Character Studies,” which analyzes TV characters.
This winter I’m getting the opportunity to work at my favorite online magazine, Slate. I’m an editorial intern in the magazine’s Washington D.C. offices. It’s been a lifelong goal to work there. My first blog post was about butter, Paula Deen, and The Pioneer Woman.
